Holy Batman, the return of...6 years later after an impressive LP, def overlooked imo, they continue to surpass themselves with more weird discordant drenched punk. Welcome back bois!

CAPTIVE - Black Leather Glove CS
Finally at long last, the much anticipated release from your favorite ATX post-punkers, 10 tracks of darkwave/synthwave in the vein of "Pornography" era The Cure. Been waiting for this one to drop since it was announced in '13. After much delay, here it is finally in cassette form by some label from Spain, limited run of 80 tapes.

Permaculture - They Advance EP
"2nd EP from Ryan (Social Cirkle, Confines) and Jen (Nuclear Family,
Nervous Trend). 4 new tracks that build on the peace-punk/’Penis Envy’
vibe of the debut record whilst adding some post-punk touches and a more
hardcore edge in places."

Anasazi - Nasty Witch Rock
"Finally, after years of tremendous promise based on their live show,
Anasazi have dropped their monolithic LP. The band's first two 7"s were
solid and established them as one of the preeminent contemporary goth
punk bands. Of course, that's not saying much considering the company,
but those who saw them live knew they were something special. Finally,
they've captured the magick perfectly on record with the help of Ben
Greenberg and have now emerged as the best band of this style in the
world. Aesthetic and sound only go so far, but Anasazi break from the
pack with an unrivaled intensity and, most importantly,
thoroughly-impressive songwriting. There's not much more to say about
this band other than that this LP is completely essential, so don't
sleep on this one."

Safewords - Self Titled LP
"Taking nods from SISTERS OF MERCY and RED
LORRY, YELLOW LORRY, SAFEWORDS burn the drum machines and chorus pedals
on the altar and combine equal parts WIPERS and CHRISTIAN DEATH to bring
you (post-mortem) 11 tracks of catchy death(rock)-(post)punk that will
have you locked in your bedroom flipping this piece of wax over and over
again ‘til the sky’s gone out. Ian curtis singing for the Wipers."
